How to delete your TruckHills account and the personal data linked to it, and what we keep afterwards.
How to request deletion
- In the app: open your profile or settings and choose the option to delete your account.
- By email: write to support@truckhills.com from the email linked to your account, or include the phone number you use to sign in, with the subject "Delete my TruckHills account".
We may contact you to confirm the request comes from you. We complete deletion within 30 days of confirming it.
What we delete
- Your account, profile and sign-in details.
- Contact details, business details and saved preferences.
- Freight enquiries and transporter details that are not linked to a completed shipment.
- Location and device data linked to your account.
- Verification documents, unless we must keep them by law.
What we keep
Records of completed shipments, invoices and payments are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually up to 8 years, and then deleted. We also keep information needed to resolve open disputes or prevent fraud until that matter is closed.
